Thanks for your interest in Sandhill Chesapeakes, breeders of Quality Hunting Chesapeakes. We are located in West Central Nebraska in the Sandhills (Cattle County), we live 30 miles north of North Platte. We have three children that help take care of our dogs and spend hours with our puppies. Our goal is to raise quality Chesapeake Bay Retrievers that are healthy, well socialized and have outstanding retrieval drive and that will be with you and your family for many years.

Our dogs have jump hunted, hunted out of boats and kayaks, done time in the blinds as well as flushed upland game. They are well mannered around other dogs and hunters and in their off time our dogs spend hours with our children swimming in the rivers and ponds around our home. They are very loyal and loving and have even been known to pull a sled in the winter.

The whole family spends countless hours with these puppies. Our goal as breeders is not just to sell puppies, but to sell well balanced family and hunting dogs, that will go out and make exceptional animals that will give this noble breed a good name, and give it´s new owners/families a loving and faithful friend and hunting partner for many years.
