Tony and Kendra,
We could tell that you and the family had socialized the pups of his litter very well, and he became part of the family very quickly.
I have had him out to Kansas twice and he has become a good duck and goose dog in those trips.
He will also retrieve doves, and we are working on his field skills for upland birds.
He is just a big loveable lunk and we love him to death.

Kendra, Tony and family,
Here is a picture of Sage in front of 68 snow geese. Part of the 106 snow geese shot from a pond in S.E. Nebraska this past March. Sage retrieved about half of the 106 birds all by herself. She was amazing and received "atta girls" from our group of hunters. The guys said they had never seen anything like it. She was like a non-stop machine.

PS:
I had Sage out for a training session last week, after no training for months, and she did single, double, and triple retreives flawlessly. I worked on line out to 125 yards and she only had trouble on the last dummy which she figured out on her own to get back on line and complete her mission. She has retained most of her training. She is a great dog.
